Blue Jaw/throat Trigger Fish

I am interested in getting a blue jaw trigger fish for my 75g reef. Does anyone have pics or videos of theirs? And maybe some advice?

I currently have a pair of clowns, a six line wrasse, and a yellow tang in my tank.

Kind of iffy in that size tank...Yes they are "reef safe" in most cases, and Xanthichthys genus are considered the least aggressive of the triggers, but make no mistake about it, they are still Triggers and once they grow up, all Triggers have a mean streak in them. I have 3 from this genus and they all exhibit occasional aggression, and my Male Crosshatch is frankly very nasty at times.

It could work out if you can find a small one, but as with all Triggers...."Buyer beware".

I just put one in my tank Friday, and he's still hiding out in the rocks. He does come out to eat, but then goes to hide again. Very passive tank mates, including kole tang, pair of picassos, red mandarin. I love him so far, but then again, I don't get to see him swim around much.

As mentioned, your tank is not going to be big enough to keep one long term, so have a backup plan when you have to remove him.
Also, sometimes males kept on their own fade in color and look like females (they don't become females, but lose the nicer male color).
