Blue Jaw Trigger, possible fungus

Hey guys, I just purchased a male blue jaw trigger 2 days ago. I brought him back and put him in QT tank and has been in there ever since. He is very shy right now, which I don't blame him. Upon looking at him he has a scratch on his eye and now today has a spot the size of a quarter on his side that is raised.
To me it appears to be some kind of fungus, but I want to get a positive id from you guys. What kind of medicine would you recommend me using or if any natural ways apply please tell me as well.

The tank is 1.024, 76 degrees, 0 accross the board of ammonia nitrate etc.

The fish has not ate anything yet, I'm not so much concerned about that yet since he just got shipped in.

It's difficult to make out from the picture you provided, but perhaps its injury given the scratch on its eye. Can you get a better picture of the questionable spot? I would provide excellent water quality and continue to offer small amounts of food (varied if possible).

Triggers are usually pretty tough. I would continue to watch closely as you are doing.

Yes Enrich the food with Garlic. I have a few triggers and they are tough.

Keep the lights low and feeding good.

Also a Freshwater dip can help but can stress them also. its a 50/50.

I have some garlic liquid on hand, I got some melafix that I am adding to the water. I will get some new pictures tomorrow morning.. I don't want to stress him out waking him up.

What foods should I try feeding him? I have mysis, brine, blood worms and krill on hand.

This raised and white shape was present on the first day correct? As received? Given the rectangular shape, I am thinking this maybe some sort of injury. Has the spot increased in size, changed colors, or changed in visible way since the first day?

Other than shy, does it appear active and eat ok?

If behavior is normal and appetite is good, then I would continue to watch for change in size, shape and color at this point IMO. Maybe some others can chime in on their opinions.

The spot was not originally there, to my knowledge... I guess it could have been because I never looked at the fish under lights until i actually noticed it. The spot has not grown in size. Today the fish has some ich spots, not worried about that as I have treated it a bunch of times.. I would like to know if you think that is some kind of fungus or just some injury. Looking at it up close it appears to be raised.

At this point I am going to do the tank transfer method with some qunine sulfate along with some melafix to help if that is some kind of parasite. I will do my best with not handling the fish to disturb the slime coat in switching tanks... Anything else you would change or do different?
