Blue LED's for Aquapod 24

I have a 24 gallon Aquapod and the 6 blue LED's are pretty worthless. Last weekend I saw the ReefBrite's in person and was amazed. I'd like to incorporate a 15" unit into my setup. Was told by the guy selling them that it could be done, but I'm not quite sure how they can be added to the Sunpod. Any ideas/suggestions?

Thanks,
David

You will probably have to drill some holes in the Sunpod and screw the Reefbrite to the Sunpod.

If you don't want to drill holes you can look into the Ecoxotic stunner strips. They aren't nearly as powerful but with some reflectors they put out decent light.

I'm okay with drilling holes. I would just want to do so on the backside of the Sunpod. Do you know if you can angle the reefbrite unit?

I haven't owned a Reefbrite so I am not an expert. I have looked into them very heavily though. I was going to add one to my Aquactinics TX5 when I had it. I ended selling the tank and not ever doing it.

The brackets that Reefbrite uses allows you angle the light how you want. So yes you can put it on the back and aim it at the tank.

Cool - thanks for the info. Might pick up one next weekend at my LFS. I'll share some pics of the mod if I do.
