blue leg hermits caught eating my xenia

This is good to hear, all I was imagining today or blue leg Hermits crawling around broken eggshells and coffee grounds to their demise.
Whenever I see a coral die for no apparent reason I start checking my alkalinity.

Well, thank goodness for that! Happy to hear they're in the sump.

Just as a note, if crabs take after something, very frequently it had the scent of decay about it. This is not saying they're never guilty, but crabs or worms going after a coral often are the sign of something else wrong.

Wish I had about 10 of them then Xenia is growing with a vengeance in my tank.

Blue legged hermits are not reef safe. I have tryed to catch them all but just could not.. now ive paid with with the lose of my xenia colony. Caught then red handed. Now they are in the trash can
