Anyone else notice this?
On several separate occasions now, I've noticed that when I have had a bloom of nasty brown cyanobacteria, if I leave only my (T5 bulbs) Blue+ and Super Actinic running all day, there's no sign of the cyanobacteria before the day's over.
This seems entirely unconnected to my erratic feeding schedule etc. Typically, if I let the direct sunlight pour into the tank, it is the cause (or final straw to produce) for cyanobacteria in the areas it hits. But then when I block the sun and have only the aforementioned bulbs running, it the cyanobacteria virtually dissolves...
