Hello Gentlemen!

My friend has just added a Blue Linkia to his 25 gallon Reef Tank. Anny suggestions on how to take care of this guy. What does he eat, etc. thanks is advance

Their diet is unknown but they have the best chances of surviving in very large tanks with lots of live rock. Most of them either die from shipping complications, improper acclimation or starvation with a year or so.

Get a bigger tank and lot's of rock. Their diet is unknown for the most part. I have read they are algae slime eaters. And you want to have a well established system for them. Also never touch them with your hands your expose them to air. I have one in my 125, he's very well. I am approaching 6.5 months with mine now.

I have also heard that they are very sensative to oil on our hands, so touching them can kill them, and it is best to keep your hands out of the tank.

I am not sure how much truth is in that, but it makes sence to me.

My Blue Linkia is all over my tank. In and out of just about every crevice it can't find and I've been lucky so far, it hasn't moved any rock's or caused any problem.

knock on wood.
