blue linkia?

This may sound really stupid, but I honestly don't know.... Can a blue linkia starfish get ich? My jawfish has come down with it. I know I can remove him and do hyposalinity, but if my starfish gets it, how do I treat him?


also, I haven't added anything new to my tank, so how do you suppose that my jawfish got ich? is it one of those things that is always present and maybe he got stressed?

Invertebrates such as your starfish cannot be infected with ich, but they can bring ich into the system with the transport water.

The ich was likely there and went unnoticed or it was brought in recently with something unquarantined. Everything wet should be quarantined.
