Blue Mandarin Dragonet

I'll just leave you with this this quote by Phyxius from this thread: http://reefcentral.net/forums/showthread.php?p=16549506
Mine was fine for the last yr in my 210 and never bothered anyone in the tank. In the last month it has gone on a rampage tearing at my clowns, tangs and attacked our new sailfin already. Has not bothered any of the blood red shrimp in there thoug. As soon as I can get him out his new home is the sump!!
It's not an issue of the mandarin getting big enough to defend himself because if that wrasse to decides to go after him, he's pretty much defenseless against such an agile fast moving fish. It's more likely a matter of your six line reaching maturity.

Hmm point taken! Ill try and catch him on Monday I have work all this week end. Ill probably start straving the tank again starting today. Rather be safe than sorry.

Good call taking him out they are viscious little buggers....We had one that killed a red headed goby and bit our male Occy in just 3 days :angryfire:...needless to say he got "rehomed". They may be classifyed as 'semi-aggressive' on sites like Live Aquaria but I have seen them in action...they are little brutes!
