I had one of those before it was consumed by Montipora nudis. In the right light and when well fed mine stayed a nice dark purple with brilliant blue polyps and yellow around those raised edges. Too much light or if I stopped feeding reef roids and it would bleach badly, seemed really finicky.
The polyps formation on it reminds me more of a Monti the a scroll coral. Scroll corals have polyps on the bumps. This has polyps in between the bumps like a monti from what I can see on my phone. I didn't know where was a blue scroll either, sounds sweet. Thoes things grow slow from the start let alone weird colored ones.
I'm going to double down on encrusting monti, even though it appears to be something else. The raised bumps are filter feeders that the monti has encrusted around.
