Just got 4 blue reef chromis' 2 days ago. all were eating fine but today one will not eat. Just stays in one corner of the tank. Breathing and color look OK.

I separated him in an acclimation tank and fed him mysis and brine but he did not take any. I gave him baby brine hoping would eat some and I think he got a little.

not sure what this means but I did notice his eyes seems to be bulging a little. This morning I had a heater go out and tank temp got down to 75. It is back to 78 now, not sure if thats why. The other fish have been eating fine but he still will not.

any info appreciated

The eye's are just slightly larger than normal, nothing like the pic. It may be how the fish came a few days ago . Just something I noticed but I will watch to see if it gets worse. The other 3 chromis are doing fine and eating like crazy.

The tank is a month and a half old. I had a little ammonia, no2 , no3 spike but undetectable for past week. It is a 180 with 70 gal sump 75 gal fuge and 250 lbs cured live rock. I am showing a bit of coraline and bit of algea bloom but cleaning crew taking care of it. Only bio load is these 4 chromis, and a few snail and hermits. I plan on not adding anything else until I know these chroims are stable.

OK. This is nothing unusual. If you want to have 4 Chromis's you need to buy at least 7. They always will pick off the smaller, weaker of the group. The stronger ones will ostricize the weaker ones until they literally just fade away. Don't worry about it. THere is no disease brewing, just normal Chromis behavior.
