Blue Ribbon Eel.

I am getting a blue ribbon soon. He is going in a 150 with a hariquen tusk and a lionfish, both are huge. Tusk is about 6 inches and lion is about 8 or 9 inches. Will these two guys bother my eel?

Also I was wanting some tips for keeping a eel. I kept one in middle school but that was 10 years ago. I know the ribbon eel is tough to keep. But any advise would be appreciated.

Thanks

as you know from past experience with the species, make sure it is eating, and make sure it will be able to get food in the DT with the more active fishes you have

You need to make sure your tank is escape proof as well.

I had one in a FO tank, and I came from work one day and I couldn't find him anywhere. I thought for sure he was dead. About an hour later he crawled out of the Emperor filter and back into the tank-- all two and a half feet of him.

Agree with the above when it comes to "eel-proofing" the tank, it would go for pretty much all morays...I've had eels get into HOB filters after assuming it had died and got eaten or some other thing. Learned the hard way not to try getting a juvenile E. nebulosa out of a HOB filter.
