Blue screw loose on 9002

I purchased the 9002 about 3mo ago and have been VERY happy with it. However the blue screw that controls the air flow is getting very loose to the point I have a hard time dialing in the air flow because there is no resistance and I cant make the small adjustments that are recommended. I assume the screw is stripped. Do I need an entire new top plate? Any suggestions?

Unless it was crossthreaded at some point and the screw is damaged the more common issue is that the top plate 9002.030 needs to be replaced, check the screw for any obvious damage and let me know.

Thanks for the prompt reply. You are right I need the entire top plate.I sent you a p.m. with the details.

Thanks again its a great skimmer for smaller tanks.

Wow! Talk about customer service! Received the top plate yesterday and the 9002 is again working like a charm! BTW, I would recommend this skimmer to anyone with an appropriately sized tank.

Thanks again!
