Blue spot Jawfish and Tiger Striped Sea Serpent

Does anyone have the following combo in their tank?

I have a 75 gallon and I have both; for the most part the Sea Serpent leaves the Blue spot alone in his burrow, but will occassionally join the blue spot in his burrow.

I've notice recently that the blue spot has been spending more time in the area created between two rocks where his burrow is located. Bascially above it's burrow in a protected spot but by it's burrow if that makes sense. Bascially it's a little cave that has open ends (two rocks and a rock shelf above) and the blue spot has piled it's sand on either side. So it's not in it's burrow with it's head sticking out of the burrow. It still does spend time in it's burrow but not as much.

Everything else about the blue spot is great, eats like a pig and looks good.

I know the sea serpent is safe and haven't had any problems with it and actaully love it as a cleaner. However should I be concerned about it and my blue spot?

In addition when the blue spot is in between the two rocks it is getting quite a bit of current on it because of a power head being aimed in that direction.

I don't have this combo, but I recently purchased a blue spotted jawfish from my LFS. He is awesome. I have a lot of live rock and it is arranged so that there are many caves/cliffs/overhangs. He has been in my tank for 7 days and he has already made several holes in the sand along the rocks. It is very interesting to watch him work, it's like he never stops.

Also, does your jawfish people watch? Whether I'm in my couch or recliner, he will move from cave to cave to watch what I'm doing. He is very alert, and constantly monitors his surroundings.

Yes it people watches. I've had mine for about the same amount of time. It swims around since it is housed with some more passive fish. Also not camera shy, one of my favorite fish hence the concern about the sea serpent.

My LFS says not to worry and I trust them.

It swims around? How often does it exhibit this behavior? My jawfish pretty stays in his holes unless it is feeding time. Then, he turns into the Tasmanian devil and shoots through the water like a dart. He is by far one of the fastest fish I have seen.
