Blue Spot Jawfish sick

I just ordered a Blue Spot Jawfish from bluezoo and it just came in today. After acclimating him for 30 minutes I got a good look at him. I noticed these huge white bumps on his head area and head area only. They look like ick but alot bigger and more noticable. He also has one on his lower lip which leads me to think it is a bacterial infection. I am not completely sure and don't want to take any unnecessary actions. If anyone can help please do. Thanks

Is he in quarantine or your display? If he is in your display, get him in quarantine fast and treat.

seeing that velvet seems to be a very serious threat and possibility here with the way it looks, I administered first does of cupramine. I am afraid of it being fungal though because he doesn't seem to be breathing rapidly. Additionally, his mouth seems to be open all the time because of the lesion on this lower lip.

Is there something that is antifungal that I could administer safely with cupramine?

ok got a slightly better picture and also noticed that the spots are not only in one area but covering a big part of his body. Check them out and let me know what you think. Thanks in advance.

I had same (I want to say exact) symptoms on a Blue Ring Angel and Emp in QT. Not sure if it was bad water quality since there were other fishes in there without that 'growth'. The growth looks translucent and raised like white clear sponge growing on live rock. I don't think it was lympho (sp).

Doing a 10 min FW dip on the Blue Ring angel at night had it cleared up the next morning.
Did same 5 min FW dip on Emp angel (couldn't handle the longer FW dip) and it cleared up too the next morning!

I don't know if it's fungal/bacterial, but FW dip did get rid of it for me. Been four days and 'growth' hasn't returned.

Also QT is being dose with Cupramine and PraziPro and I don't think it helped whatever was on the two fishes.
