I found this little guy so intrigueing. Definitely full of character and grit.

Hmmm, I never noticed their pupils aren't circular, or typical slits like a cat's eye, they are a mixture of both.

Anyway, good pictures, nice detail, the blue on the body looks almost fake, I've seen plenty of blue spotted jawfish and never seen one yet that the blue shines quite so brightly on.

My buddy told me he's rare for a jawfish? I don't believe him half the time because he claims everything to be "rare" haha.

Nice - I also like the way you have the "picture" slightly curled, drop shadow on both sides along the bottom. Is that a plug-in or PS work?

Whoa..the bottom edge is straight, isn't it? Did you just do 2 seperate layers of drop shadows with different light angles"

That is indeed cool. I've tried just doing a regular shadow like that on elements 5.0. I don't think it allows me to do it, or does it and I can't find it?

Nice shots.

t5Nitro,

not familiar with elements, but traditionally drop shadow is in the Layer Style menu. In CS3 I click "Layer -> Layer Style -> Drop Shadow..."

Hope that helps!

OOB as in "out of bounds" oob? Traditional graphic design technique. Those are quite fun to look at. You think those are cool wait until you see what the professional 3d guys can do. Thanks for the comments btw. Very well appreciated. I'm leaving soon guys! Going to miss you all.

OOB is actually not too tough a thing to photoshop. It can be hard to get them to look good, especially with busier shots, but there are a whole load of great tutorials on the technique.
