I almost bought one today. The Critter has a nice health looking one. I must have looked at it for an hour.......

That is a real interesting fish. hard to find from what I read. But I can almost hear you talking yourself into buying it Good thing today was not payday eh?

Brian has wanted one of these since we got into the hobby - he's like a kid in a candy store every time we see one at a LFS. I've seriously debated getting him one as a really nice gift a few times, but I know that the second I drop the money on one, it'll die in the bag on the way home or take a flying leap out of a completely sealed tank somehow and I'll be out the money. And frankly, that thought just makes me shiver... I'm not ready to be driven to drinking by this hobby - at least not yet

i did see that at the critter the other day....definitely a cool looking fish....but like most people, the price was too scary!!!

Definitely a cool fish. They're $160 at Marine Center... how much were they at the Critter?

its been in there a couple of weeks now so its passed the survival test at the critter. i've been looking at it also but already have a few too many fish in the 125.

I saw it at Critter the other day too....Didn't know it was that expensive, never did check the price so I guess it wasn't that special of a fish to me......

I have heard that these need a bit cooler waters than we normally keep our tanks...not as bad as the Catalina gobies but similarly. I've heard that they do not do well unless you maintain a cool tank but if you do that they do great.

Just something I heard and thought you guys might want to research before you purchase such an expensive fish (I'm also considering one).

ouch. I just cant see paying that much for a fish. wow... I have a very long established tank, but $70 is about my max. I have 2 in there about that price and that is enough for me.
