Blue Staghorn SPS turning BROWN?

Hi all!

I have a small frag of a blue stag horn SPS. I got it from a fellow reefer. His colony was a beautiful blue color. The specific frag was from this colony. When I bought the frag (although the person offered to cut a "fresh" frag") I hoped I could turn it to its original color by myself.
I have the frag about 3 weeks now but it seems as if it has turned more brown.
It was sitting quite low in the tank so I acclimate it. As of yesterday I moved it in the middle of the tank. All other SPS frags I have are doing good, its only this one that looks uninteresting. Any thoughts?

My params are:
Tank: 16g
Salinity: 1.025,5
Temp: 25°C
Ammonia: undetectable (red sea max test kit)
Nitrite: undetectable (red sea max test kit)
Nitrate: undetectable (red sea max test kit)
Mg: 1429 ppm
Ca: 345 ppm
KH: 7,7 dKH

Needs more time. Lots more time. Keep in mind Stags and Blues USUALLY like high light. It make take months for it to color. Just be patient. If it looks healthy with polyps out, leave it alone. If no improvement in 4-6 weeks, move it up and repeat. JMHO!

Great, thanks for the feedback!
Looks like a SPS's take the patience factor to a whole new level in this already "be patient" hobby! lol

Absolutely. SPS require to be left alone. I am witnessing that in my tank now. I transferred a lot of corals and added some new ones. After a week they looked blah, some ragged, some OK. After a month, they are all slowly improving. Most still have a long way to go. I would say it takes minimum a few weeks to notice a significant change, and even longer for something to fully color up.

Here is a good example of what to expect in a few weeks time....
