Hello,
I had a male and female blue star leopard wrasse (Macropharyngodon bipartitus) that did very well together the past couple years, my male disappeared a few months ago and I'd like to add another. I was thinking of just adding one male, but my female looks like she's changing color/pattern and I'm wondering if she's changing into a he? So, I thought to add a few, 3-4, females to the tank. My concern is how my current female will take to the additional females in the tank? Can it be a problem and is there a way around it if it is? Aside from removing the current female, I'm certain there's no getting her unless I dig her up after she puts herself to sleep for the night. The tank is 6 feet long and 225 gallons, no other wrasse in the tank.
