Blue Tang follows Purple Tang

Its funny. My baby Blue Tang follows my Purple Tang. Wherever my purple tang swims, the Blue Tang follows. No real aggression from either of them. Here's a pic:

It seems like they paired up or something like clownfish. Ever heard of this behavior before?

Thats funny. I don't think they are paired up though, mabey they just like each other.

thats strange. I guess the hippo just likes the purple.

Yeah its real stange but yet funny. The video you saw is nothing. One time my Purple tang swam across to the other side of the tank and my Blue chased after him and when he caught up he stayed with the Purple and swam right back with him. Its like they're clownfish. The purple is the female and the Hippo is the male.

Yeah it would be one thing if they were the same species but they are different which makes it interesting.

blue tangs are know to do that atleast ime...mine will sometimes act like a clownfish, sometimes try to swimm with the chromis even hang out with my Lawnmower blenny but he denies its atempts. My friends hangs out with his yellow tang alot as well.

Yeah but the funny thing is the Purple Tang is accepting the Blue tang. Ususually purple tangs are a bit more aggressive ime.
