Blue tang nose hole?

Hi gus, this is my first post and i like to say hi to all reefers here! Fortunately i have a issue with my blue tang, he have a white hole in his left nose, check pic.. Wondering what is it, fish is big and healty, swiming and eating normal, having it for 1.5y, before was in friends tank... My tank is 110g, light stocked, he is only only tang in it... He have this hole maye a year or so... Pl help with opinions.. TNX

Looks like Head and Lateral Line Erosion (HLLE)
In my experience treating a chevron tang with copper caused similar scarring, but it cured him of velvet. The scarring may go down over time or may be permanent.

Thanks, but fish was healty, with no copper treatment... Guy from my LFS said that increased alge feeding may help...

I had good luck feeding pellets soaked in selcon when I had a flame angel with HLLE.
