Blue throat trigger trio question

Has anyone ever tried 2 female blue throats with 1 male in the tank?

I have only a pair, but I would suggest a very large tank. I have a 120; my blue jaws are about 6" and could use more space. The male shows his dominance over the female and they can get pretty rambunctious, I would imagine two targets would need more space. I recall there being something said about a trio on Wet Web Media...

I've seen it work with crosshatches in very large aquariums, since they often have harems anyway.
I've never seen it work with bluejaws.
