Blue throat trigger with shrimp?

By any chance does anyone have any other ideas for a "centerpiece" fish? Maybe an emperor Angel, another tang of some sort? If one of the fish started to get to big for my tank I wouldn't have any problem upgrading in a few years to accommodate it :).

My wife really likes the cleaner shrimp so I'm not sure yet if I should take a chance with the trigger eating it. Judging by the responses, it's about a 50/50 shot with the trigger so it's a tuff decision.

Get something you like even if it costs. It will pay off with satisfaction. Remember this isn't an inexpensive hobby. Try looking into a nice pair of Wrasses or even a couple different ones. I know they are pricey at times but trust me they will more than satisfy you. Almost all reef safe wrasses will be perfect for your size tank.

Well I was looking at a moorish idol because it's drastically different from every fish I have but then I read that they die in captivity and their look alike, the bannerfish that is reef safe isn't sold anywhere. So it's back to square one, lol.

Get the BT. If it eats the shrimp you have a excuse to set up another tank. If the BT gets too big you could either trade it in or set up a larger tank by that time.

I got one mean @ss Arrow crab that holds his own agains Three Triggers....
I named him Rocky!

I think the tricky part will be finding a fish that will get along with my yellow tang and flame Angel. I'm afraid that those two fish will cause too much stress if I introduce a smaller weaker fish. And most big fish like the angels will eat corals. And any other tang will be bullied by the yellow tang. I can't think of any other big fish I can buy since I'm basically limited to what online vendors or petco has, and most have a very limited inventory.
