undertai and Dave2 . Those will turn true blue under higher lighting. If you look at the first picture I posted . Above the big blue tip stag to the right you see blue and green to the right of the pocci. Originally dark green . With the more light I gave it the more it grew and now it is blue branched now not just blue tips . Almost looks like the lime in the sky le coral . All blue with green on the corralites.

heres mine, this pic is under t5, now i am running XM 10k 250w so i'll see how growth and color changes.

And I have no idea what this is, I got it from fragfarmer. I also got a beautiful big fat wild blue stag that has turned into an incredible piece but I don't have a pic. Tomorrow I'll get one.

Here's mine, started as a 1" frag a few years ago, tolerates everything I throw it's way, moving, kalk floods, ro/di float failures, power outages. Just keeeeps on growing!

Wow.. dug up from the grave I see :p

Some daaaamn nice pieces on here. Since my original post, there has been some great growth on my stag. I'll have to take an updated shot.

Also as a note, I am getting much better with this SPS thing. My 20g nano is becoming an SPS dominated nano (uh-oh.) heh.. SPS are hands down my favourite corals now. Thanks a lot guys...... haha jk.

Oh yeah, Diesel Dave:

That hot pink mille in the backround in your first set of pics looks stunning. What a nice bright piece.

LFS by me just got alot of brown blue tip stags, not much color at all, other than a slight hue of light blue at tips. i never buy aything brown. do these stags color up nicely from brown, when stable water parameters, good flow and lighting are available? i like these. maybe i'll get 1.

what location is recommended on these? lighting? flow? i'm going today to get 1 i've decided.

this A. Microphthalma started brown w/blue tips down low, but when I raised it up high it went all blue......

ocean gallery on 22 in n. plainfield. not the best place but these frags are healthy. brown, blue tips, excellent polyp extension. big too for $20. mine is about 4" w/ 3 branches.
better store in NJ is absolutely fish on 46W in clifton. i was there on friday and they must have just received a shipment of sps. their 225g display was full of new nice $ps, including a few stags.

Here is mine, got it from Coral Dynamics as a 2 inch frag Oct 03. As far as advice on how to care for yours, just keep all your tank parameters at recommended level and like I have said before keep those parameters as stable and constant as possible.
