I recently bought some nice frags at a great price from a local hobbyist. I popped them 3 days ago and the first morning i took this picture, I placed them as far down in the tank as possible and they opened up nicely especially the watermelons. Then the next day not so much, i left them alone for 2 days then moved them a little bit higher...the blue are doing fine just need some adjusting but the watermelons are being stubborn now, any suggestions? All water parameters check out.

My watermelons are more watermelon higher up and more eagle eye if low in the tank. I'm no zoa name expert, I think they are the same polyp just different color depending on placement. my tubbs have really done well miday. I had them on the sand and they had ncie color but they have really started to grow once placed mid level.

Really depends on your lights.I have Tubbs on the bottom of a 90 gallon, but it has 2-250 watt halides and 2- 54 watt T5 actinics.

You can blast either with lots of light and they'll do fine. They may take a couple of days to adjust but don't stress too much over them and stop moving them all around.
