Blue Tuxedo Urchin

Are these reefsafe? I love the looks of these guys and think one would be cool to have in my reeftank but i want to make sure that he'll behave first.

Yep, just make sure you have a healthy growth of stuff on the rocks and glass for it to pick over. If you feed nori sheets, expect to find its way to them atleast once a week(or more depending on aquarium size). Also whatever isnt tied in place, nailed down or glued on will become part of its body camo. They are collector urchins and survive by attaching stuff to their body to fool predators. Mine currently wears rubble, cheato, sand, and my palythoa polyps(which btw love that they get different light and flow).

Definitely reef safe, big coraline algae eaters.

Here's couple of shots of mine with its collection...

Mine doesn't bother a thing. It spends most of its time on the glass, I don't notice a big difference in the coraline.
