I picked this frag up a few weeks ago, as soon as I moved it up, I'm seeing blue tips. Is there any particular name for this?

unless one know the inside scoop on this frag (ie: what it's parent colony is) there's no way one could properly ID that coral to species based on that picture.

If he found it at the LFS I think he did, the parent colony is only about baseball sized. The colony has few distinguishing traits to what species or type (i.e. bottlebrush, stag, etc.). Elliot (owner) and I looked through several coral books and found nothing to compare it to. Mine is named Blue-Tipped, Brown Polyped Acropora Sp.

Yeah, I did get it from Elliot.

The bigger colony he had was beautiful.
