work in progress
+1 I have a lot of experience with NPS corals and kept many different animals for a long time. I have kept both a dendronepthya and scleronephthya for well over a year. I also have many contacts in the real NPS world. I'm talking people whose tanks get fed hourly with live phyto and living pods of all kinds and NO ONE, let me emphasize that again, NO ONE has been able to keep one alive for longer than a few months. Save your money and buy something photosynthetic!
Well, I didn't spend money on my blueberry. Someone local had one for 6 months and it was growing. He just sold it...and the buyer simply gave me a cutting given my interest and the risk of sending it just one place. So now I've got a ~4 inch cutting to experiment with....just got it Sunday.
I have reef roids powder. I'm trying to get it to open and I haven't seen that yet. Maybe it is in the middle of the night. I get to observe for a couple hours in the evening only.
I'm going to be buying more food. Any ideas on feeding from people who have tried this one that they might give me? Please note any related success or failure...no shame if you failed...it's likely I will too.
The previous owner fed his bio-cube (yes, that's right) a variety and I'm trying to get greater detail. This is all he has noted thus far - "i have it about 5-6 months now it alway happy and open most of the time. i feed it together with my lps coral . reef snow, reef droid, reef chili"
