Blueline Solar 750

I saw that Blueline has something called a solar 750 that can dim Ice Cap ballasts.
Can I look forward to eventually being able to dim my Ice Caps with my Profilux. That is something that really appeals to me.
If Profilux can't come up with anything themselves can they use the Solar 750 or work with Blueline to come up with an alternative.

Ahh the blueline still isnt really reliable to controll icecaps. I have seen a couple problems with them.
I would doubt that they could work and doubt icecap will try to make them work.

It's still a dream of mine to combine dimmable VHOs with a couple of simusticks. Any remote chance of something coming down the pipe?

I am no one of authority on this for ghl or icecap, Some have tried asking, but as i see it icecap has no interest in it. JMO

GHL are presently actively working on other possible company tie ups.

As you are aware much goes on behind the scenes that will benefit all if and when they become reality.

Well there isn't better companies than IceCap and Tunze IME. Since Profilux already works with Tunze than interoperability with IceCap products would also be fantastic IMHO!

I have the Coralvue dimmable MH ballasts, any chance my Profilux can have a little robot turn the dials for me ???

I wish I were able to control my MH's with the dimmable feature... Anyone know if there are plans for that at all ???

I dunno about dimmable MH, But icecap does have one (Dimmable t-5 ballast) coming out, and "rumored" to work with the aquatronica.

I should correct that, Its rumored. All know what rumor lead to. :)
Just hope its 1-10v controlled!!!

Hi,

I am in the same situation as badazztealcobra, I have the same Coralvue ballasts on my Mh's, and would like to know if there are any options or ways to control the dimming function. Would be a great option!!

Cheers
Tony.

Me too, Tony. I've got the Coralvue dimmable 400W ballasts and the Icecap 660 dimmable VHO ballast. If Profilux can control these ballasts, it would strongly influence a decision to go with a Profilux setup.

Tone :)

Anything anyone releases that has a 1-10 Volt interface profiLux will control it, it has nothing to do with if ProfiLux is willing to work with a third party manufacturer :)

In respect to dimmable MH dont hold your breathe, every single attempt I have seen at this so far is way below in my own oppinion what i would call adequate, it also kills MH bulbs
