bluespot jawfish dead-yellow watchman hurt

So after breaking down my 10 year old 125 reef I saved a few frags and started a red sea max 34 gallon mostly to house a blue spot jawfish . The Jawfish I bought a month ago was doing great even though it had some scrapes on its side from day one that were getting better . A week ago I added a yellow watchman goby that after a few days ended up with a busted mouth but still feeding . Two days ago my blue spot wouldnt come out but I could see him in the den same thing yesterday but I noticed him breathing heavy and his lip was peeling . I spent a lot of time by the tank and never saw them fight although the first couple of days the YWG was by the BSJ's den.
Are these fish not compatible ?
Could it be some disease I didn't quarantine the YWG ?
The only other tank mates are a two spot goby and a pair of percula clowns .
I doubt they both stuck their face in the MP10 vortech

IMO, the tank is too small for a BS and any other similar sized goby / jaw unless you have a mated pair. My money would be on that they locked lips (typical jawfish fighting tech) and got hurt. In a tank that small, the jaw, if the first dominant fish in, could very well have just gone bonkers. I'd seen similar behavior from my male when I first added my female, but he calmed down after a day or so once the female made her den out of his sight. There is a chance that it could be a disease, but hard to tell to be honest.
