I recently purchased a bluespot jawfish for my 120 gallon reef tank. He set-up his burrow in the front of my tank and was doing great for the first 3 days. This morning I woke up and noticed he hadn't covered his burrow and I haven't seen him all day. Is it normal for them not to cover their burrow? Does this mean he has moved, is sick? I have read that they sometimes hide out for a few days so I am not overly concerned at this point but wanted to check with others with experience with bluespots.
