BM Dosing pump question

I recently purchased the BM 3 head dosing pump and I'm in the process of testing it on my bench to make sure it delivers accurately. But Im not sure when I set it up the delivery side is approx 4-5 feet from pump and does this matter in the accurecy and does the distance matter ?

No, the distance doesn't matter at all. Once the dosing line (tubing) is filled with the solution, it will deliver the amount you set it for. So make sure you don't start counting your ml's dosed until the tubing if full (prime it first until you see solution start dripping out).

cool....I also noticed what looks like a bubble right at the delivery side at the connection to the tubing nipple..but it delivers without a problem...
I even keep trying to manually pump it to get rid of the air bubble there but it doesn't move at all.

you shouldn't need to calibrate- don't worry about the bubble in the tubing. I set mine up dosing to some measuring cups to measure if the amount dosed is correct.

YA...I tested 40ml delivering 4 times per day and it comes up slightly short of 10ml each of the 4 times..
