Got this skimmer 2 months ago and have encountered overflow and microbubbles problems even till now. I have reduced air intake with an air valve taken from an earlier skimmer. Seems to be working fine after that but should I return this unit as by default no Valve is provided and this unit is suppose to run without one. Will the performance be affected?
As for the microbubbles, they come and go. They always come back immediately after settling down when I top up some water or do a water change.
Lastly,how should I measure the effective water depth.? From the base of the pump below the unit till the water level when on or off?
Would appreciate any comments on this
