My new tank lighting arrived yesterday! Originally I was going to go with the ViparSpectra 165w with timer.... but I wine with the OceanRevive T247-B. I chose this over the VSpectra due to it having a better spectrum and color choice of LED's. It cost about $40 more but now I don't have to open it up and swap and solder new LED's in there.
Also here is an update on Livestock, while down in Denver attending reefstock I figured it would be a good opportunity to stop at some fish stores on the way home and get a pair of clown fish. So we picked up two baby clowns (little bigger than my finger nail) Unfortunately by the time we made the 2 hour drive home, one of the fish wasn't doing too good. Kind of just laying on the bottom of the bag. I drip acclimated them after a quick float to regulate the temperature, still not doing good... his white stripes were an off gray. After acclimation was complete his color got a little better but he never really got much off the sand bed and swam kind of distressed in one spot. He only made it a couple hours before croaking. But the other one made it and is happy as can be!
