I bought my 10 gallon with the intention of it being used as a QT tank for my 55. Well, the QT was boring so I decided to make it into a mini reef. Pictures will be posted soon. Comments appreciated.
Here are the specs: 10 Gallon, open top, whicper 3 filter running carbon, 50 watt heater, 100 gph power head, 40 watts PC 50/50 light, 13 #s live rock, 20 #s live sand, green hairy mushroom, zoos, emerald green crab, blue damsel, 5 turbos, & 3 blue legged hermits.
Elevated nitrates: 20 to 40. I do a weekly 2 gallon water change. Calcium 400+, amonia and nitrites are at 0, PH 8.2, 1.022 salt, temp 76.
