Boiling water possible mistake?

Hey guys, so I had some Aiptasia attached to a Favia Coral that I bought at a local LFS. I have heard a lot of people have success applying boiling water through a syringe, and then sucking it back up. Gone forever. Well it worked very well, not a trace of that little pest left. However some boiling water did get on the coral, and it looks like a tiny bit may be damaged. So far this coral has been very hardy, and has been very healthy. Will it shrug this off, or should I be concerned?

I wouldn't worry. But if you do, melafix seems like a safe enough thing to dose a whole tank with. I use it as a coral dip for lps that get banged up in shipping when I run out of iodine. Check with the experts first, I don't have enough experience to say it's a good choice for you
