Congrats, the thing has become amazing over the years! I have to ask what is that a monti on your floor of the tank? I know you have a WM chalice, but i cant find any close ups of the other guy.

Im running bare bottom currently and debating on if i want sand of to stick with BB when i toss up my 180g. :/

lolgranny, i'm not sure i know what coral you are referring to? i dont have a monti on the floor? maybe you mean the Steve Tyree Blue Chalice? kinda growing like a Montipora Capricornis?

Thanks! to tell you the truth i really don't know what it is? i picked it up as a frag because it had a green base with red polyps. Now it just has grown into one big red acro. The base of the coral is green but as it grows into the light it looses the green and turns red? If kept under lower light it has the same characteristics as a watermelon acro.

Many congrats Thor and tank looks amazing as always. I was so inspired by your work that my previous six foot tank had aquscaping done on your ideas. I am about to start my new 56cm optiwhite cube and once again aquascaping on Bonsai tree format. Thanks for sharing such a wonderful experience with us.

Congrats on the TOTM honor. You had the first tank that I ever remember being extremely impressed by the aquascaping alone. All the overhangs, especially that huge one that looks kind of like 3/4's of a bridge was something I always said I have to make whenever I setup a new tank.
