Boom Bash Crash

Fade

So here is My 2000 Toyota Tundra.

It looks a lot worse in person as for the 1996 Honda civic that pulled out in front of me well you can all guess what that looks like.

My wife and Kids are all fine I was going 45 to 50 when I hit the kid and we stoped about 10 feet of where we hit him.

As long as everyone is ok. Sorry to here about your crash boom bang. Hope everything works out for you on your part. That kind of sucks that it was some young kid. I guess this is just the Truck Driver in me but I don't think they should let anyone have a driver's license until after you turn 25. And then you should have to surrender it if/when you buy a cell phone!! And when a woman buy's a car, the dealer ship should be forced to remove the make-up mirror ( for those of you that don't know what this is, It's what normal people call the "REARVIEW MIRROR" )!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Ok wow I could go on and on here, I'm done.

Ok now if that had been a DoDgE pick up.......You could have dodge the kid or just RAMMED him! :)

Sorry to hear about your vehicular loss (never any fun). From the looks, you did a good job of spinning that Civic around during the hit. I hope they'll let you get a different vehicle instead of being stuck with a repaired vehicle (air bag deployment helps w/ that).
------------------------------------------
I guess I hold a different opinion for requirements to get a drivers license. Personally, I don't think anyone should be allowed to drive a +3500lb vehicle without a different class of drivers license. This would nip the problem with kids that can't drive, people who commit themselves to talking on the phone instead of driving, etc in the butt.

Then again, I enjoy driving my compact car and abide by standard european driving laws (STOPPING at stop signs, signaling lane changes BEFORE I change lanes, signaling adequately ahead of time, passing on the LEFT, etc). Do this and you have earned my respect as a fellow motoring capable person.

Sorry to hear about it. That sucks. Did you yell at the kid? I had a guy rear end me then to illustrate that he would like me to get on the shoulder of the road he hit me two more times. I didn't mind the accident but I did mind the other two times. Do to my back I got out and ask him to step out so I can beet his a$$. I was in a fit of rage. He didn't want to come out and play. I called the cops and told them if they don't get here I going to pull him out and kick his but. Two cop cars and one motorcycle came. When the guy came out of the car he starts yelling at me. He was mad that he go in to this accident. The cops were going to hall in in for disobeying the police officer and he was yelling at the officer. Just another day.

Hey, if you end up needing another truck I can hook you up with one of the REAL Toyos from S.E.T.!! :) Glad you were ok. Hope it all works out ok for you!

wait a minute. you are all blaming the kid, when he typed "when I hit the kid"

-- not eveything is a kids fault.

although it may have been in this situation, but it sounds like fade accidently bumped him :(

chad, you know that i cannot even see the big print.... forget the fine print!!!!

-- all i am saying is that kids dont cause everything. dont blame them.

Does a job come with it :eek1: Thanks for the offer but it is S-O-P that if you buy new you have to do it at the store you work for or they will can you.

And Matt not all kids get the blame just this time he did. When your own insurance company lays all the blame ( 100% ) on you then it is his fault .

If they total it I'm looking at a 2006 Crew cab Tundra with all the bells and wistles with a big price tag. Or I'm going to go the other way and go a Scion XB no frills and a low sticker cost.

this is my votejavascript:smilie(':D')
big grin

maybe we could get a fade new car poll goingjavascript:smilie('')

if it were an American truck I am sure it would have less damage. Maybe there would be one less civic on the road too . J/K I am glad you were all not hurt.

My dodge was not. And check and see where the profits end up. Japan has done very well selling cars in the US, I was just kidding about the damage. I would not buy a foreign TRUCK but many of the cars they make are better than their American competitors. I don't think that is true with trucks though.

FORD is the best truck. my dad has had an f150 for like 8 years. he can probably keep it for possibly another 8.
