Booster pump RO/DI

Does anyone have an alternative to a booster pump for a booster pump because I can't afford one right now but it would be nice to have one. Maybe somebody tried something from the hardware store...

Squirrel away those nickels and dimes. An Aquatec auto CDP 8800 set up is what I use and it's worth its weight in gold. It's set at 120 psi and I get 6 gallons an hour at 0 tds through a 75 GPD filmtec RO membrane.
