Bossy's nano reef @ Belgium

hello everyone,

My name is Victor, I live in Belgium and I'm an 18 year old student Industrial Engineering.
I' ve been in the saltwater hobby for about 5 years now and my previous tank was a 100g rimless tank.
I had to stop this tank due to i'm only home in the weekends (university).

I dind't want to stop with the hobby, so i set up a little nano reef.

- tank:

*27,5 " x 16" x 20" selfmade glass tank (black backround)
*Ikea stand

- Equipment:

lighting: Maxspect Razor 10k 160W
skimmer: Coralbox s150 Tunze 9001
flow: Tunze 6015+ jebao wp-25
heater: 100W

- Stocking:

2 occelaris clownfish

here's a quick pic (don't mind the quality):

In this picture, I still had to top up the water level and needed to add my sand because PO4 was stil detectable

My previous lighting was Ocean Revive artic s026, which i liked very much.
But i had the chance to buy a razor from a local reefer for dirt cheap so went with that.

my flow pumps will be replaced by an MP10wes( and maybe MP40 or MP20) and skimmer will be replaced by tunze 9001.
I loved the coralbox but since my background is black , i went with the tunze pure for aesthetics.

so here's a recent pic after the rescape (pic is a bit too purple :hmm5:):

i liked (like) it very much! actually much more than my tunze 9001.
it was more quiet and i believe it outperforms the tunze.
the only con I could find was that it doesn't quit blend in the background.

ANOTHER UPDATE:

as i will be starting the ZEOVIT-line, i will be upgrading this system again:bounce2::D tank will be 36"long 24"wide 16" high. :eek1:

i received my glass and wanted to silicone the tank today.....untill i saw this:

should i worry about this little crack in the glass? i will put in on top of the tank(where pressure would be less, i guess).

Hey Victor! nice tank sir...love the aquascape. and great job on making the tank!
and glad you can still enjoy the hobby while in uni..

Update:

in the past weeks i've made some plans the upgrade.
the new tank will be 36" x 24" (width) x 16" (height) and overflow will probably be an DIY ghost overflow and blue background.
equipment will be:
lights: maxspect razor 160w or 6*24 T5
skimmer: reef octopus SRO2000 cone (Jebao dct40000 pump with ATI gridwheel)
flow: 2* tunze 6095 (7096 controller)
return: Jebao DC12000 (lowest setting)
Diy automatic ZEOVIT reactor

this upgrade is planned for the summer, so i have another 2 months to plan things ;)

as for now i removed the black back of my nano:
