Boston Aqua reef glue accelerator

I always figured this was kind of a shame, gel glue dries so quick anyway, why would you need an accelerator. Got a deal on a bottle so I gave it a shot and it's fantastic!! Make the glue pretty much dry instantly. No more trying to balance larger frags until they cure, just put drop on the plug, then the glue, you can even put a second drop on top of the glue to make it even dry faster.

If im not mistaken isnt that stuff just acetone? You can buy it alot cheaper in a hardware store.

Is it really acetone? I have plenty of that stuff.

It had a different smell then acetone, but I really haven't done a lot of acetone sniffing in my days :lol:

OT: Waverz, soft glass or the whole 9 yards, glory hole and all? Either are great fun, just wonderring

Be careful using the accelerator. I used some and it caused some of my SPS to RTN. I have not used it since. Good luck!

That's odd...fragged probably 100 sps's frags using then and never had one RTN
