Both cleaner shrimp molt on same night

I have a 10 gallon nano tank with two scarlet skunk cleaner shrimp. They were added to the tank on the same day - about 3 weeks ago - and generally get along fine although there have been a couple of skirmishes over mysis shrimp at feeding time. They have each staked out a "territory" in a tunnel in the live rock that they patrol, and it seems to be home base for each of them.

This morning, I see both molted on top of the same rock, about an inch apart from each other. Each is back in its preferred spot this morning.

What are the odds of both molting the same night? Is that nature's way of making sure both are vulnerable at the same time? Just a weird coincidence?
