After sitting on this new 125g RR tank for now, near 9 months trying to figure out one thing or another or finding a better way to do something and simply not able to come up with a FINAL design, and to hear a fellow 125g owner nearby with an All Glass stand developed a leak after being up less than 6 months (I think), a Hippo tang growing fast in TOO small of a tank, motivated me to get going. Alas, I finally finished Phase 1!!!
One thing that interest me is there is a gap of nearly one year between posts on the first page.... I said it may take a while.
Phase 1 - set up as existing sump from 50g
Phase 2 - build DIY sump
Phase 3 - build new stand to accomodate new sump, Dart return pump and manifold, electrical center, etc and structure for future Phase 4.
Phase 4 - lighting canopy integral with stand and back
Also we still rent with new jobs or job transfers pending??... So running the extra dedicated 20amp power line just didn't seem worth it to me at this point. Enjoy...
