Boxfish found stuck to over flow

Today I found my boxfish sucked up to my overflow :eek1:

My overflow has one spot that about 1/2 an inch inward and he was stuck on his side. His fin was moving so I freed him.

He is swimming but not using the fin that was stuck to the egg creat it has a tear in it :( . His color went from a brite yellow to a darker yellow with blotchy spots and one eye is cloudy, I think it is slighty bigger than the other but not by much. I fed right away an he didn't eat, not shocking tho. Normaly hes a piggy, but he's surely hurting rite now. And he has skin thats sheding?? like in a small area of one side.

Will this work??? I've done this in the past for sick fish like ich, however rite now nothing has ich.

I had 2 fresh full cloves of Garlic so I took one an blended it into pruree and added it to the food for later and placed the remainding amount ( 3ozs or more) into the sump. ( Tank is a 225g with a 100g sump) and watched as it made it's way up to the main display. I took the second clove peeled it as well but left the cloves whole and placed them into the sump in an high area where they wont be pulled up to the main display. Normaly I add some vitamin C to the system but I'm out of that.

Will the garlic help the boxfish in anyway recover?? Does it help boost there immune system?? The only other thing I have is a bottle of Rxp to treat for stuff like Ich but wont use it, it claims not to for certain fish an boxfish are scaleless so I cant use the stuff.

I'm just trying to keep him from getting sick due to the stress. He didn't ink that I know, but he was at the overflow so if he did where he was at, it went straight to the skimmer. He was sucked to the skimmer's overflow side of my coast to coast overflow.

Oh I've had him now for I think 6 months or so with never any issues and I have 5 other fish.

Thanks in advance.
Stu.

UPDATE:

Watched the boxfish all day and last night. He stayed at the bottom of the tank on the sand bed.

Today he's been swimming around so I feed to see what he would do. He ate very well today. After viewing him both eye's are fine in size, but cloudy. One eye has a (??scratch??) on it. He appears to be able to see but not the greatest. 4 of his fins are tattered the webbing is almost gone, however he is using all of them to swim. The area that his skin was (??shedding??) now has stopped. All I can do at this point is to keep an eye on him.
