I'm jealous. That thing is beautiful. I dont know why, I just never have had success with brains and they are probably my favorite corals. I like that marbled multi color that so many of them have. And urs is amazing, I've never seen one that looks like that. Great job!

edit: do you mind sharing stats?

-what type of lighting?
-placed at what depth in the tank?
-how often are you feeding?
-flow?

I have a trachy that looks like crap. I've tried different spots in my tank and nothing seems to bring back the color.

First I am not sure what type of brain that is.. My lfs has told me mAny times but i forget.. The brain is in a biocube 29 at the bottom ( sand bed) that pic was taken with the stock pc lighting.. I was target feeding with a mix of rods, mysis, and flakes.. I was feeding flakes in the afternoon and mixed it up around 7 pm.. Sometimes mysis, rods or both.. I have noticed my nitrates climbed to about 10ppm.. Lfs says i am feeding to much which i agree but things look good to me. Reminder I have only been in the hobby about 4 months

Honestly I think this may be my favorite color brain! Great work with getting it to satisfaction where it loves to eat! keep it healthy and if you have any question regarding its health please share to keep it alive and thriving like you have done so far!
