Brain Coral Question

I have a question, I'm a bit concerned about my Neon Green Brain. He is not looking so good. He still is nice and bright green, but now I am starting to see what looks like a white bony rib like structure sticking out of the coral. I can't take a picture, but I can tell you that all my params are fine, all my other LPS are doing great, and this is the only one that I'm concerned with. He is high up under T-5 Lighting, and he has good flow. Let me know what it could be. Thanks

I will move him down the the sand bed. Do you think it's too late for him, or can he bounce back?

Sounds like he got burned a bit, moving him down will assist the recovery - they are usually fairly hardy as far as LPS go. Try target feeding the coral as well to help.

The sweepers will come out at night. The come out all around the inner fold. I loved mine, but my coral beauty loved him more, so I traded him in for a nice big pineapple brain. Be sure nothing is nipping at him...It took me a lil while before I caught my cb.

To tempt the feeders out sometimes thow a little mysis shrimp in the tank after a few seconds I shut off any powerheads and filters in the tank after ten minutes the smell of the shimp brings out the the feedr tentacles on my brain and candy cane then I target feed.
Or shut off all the pumps and plase some food right on the brain. just make sure you keep your crabs and shrimp away with a stick.

I can not get the tentacles out, since I moved it down to the sand it looks great, but i have never see the tentacles. In fact it looks much much better then when I bought it.

Give it time, some times they takes some days to the coral to "fee"l his new eviroment, remember is a change of light and flow. The tentacles will came up but just give it a litle time to do it.

The Brains has mouth where you can place a small pice of shrimp or silver side too.
