Brain coral too much flow?

I have a MP10 on the opposite side of my brain coral, its set to lagoon at 60%
It bounces off the glass right at my brain coral, hes fully open and looks beautiful but im worried hes getting too much flow, his flesh jiggles like jello in the current and sometimes one side will be squished from the current.
Do you think this is ok for him?

here he is, you can see hes all puffed up but that one side is squished by the flow (side towards the camera)
and yes he is beautiful!

It does look nice, but over time, I would worry about the tissue pulling away from the skeleton. (receding)

Just as an example, if that was a mushroom or a zoanthid, eventually it would detach.

the bottom of the tank gets hit the hardest with flow, so anywhere on the sand is windy city
what if i raise the mp10 to a higher spot?
right now its about 5" below the surface, it pulls a little water in from the top, if i raise it up higher maybe to 3" from the surface do you think that will lesson the flow to the bottom?
but on a better note, i do have shrooms and zoas on the bottom and they havent wandered away (yet) so does that mean it may be ok for the brain?

It should be fine. My scoly does that all the time with my mp60 creating the flow. My tank is sps dominant so i have a good amount of flow going. It does that at random times and then re-inflates back to normal. I have had it for 7 months now with no problems. You can always try a different location on your sand bed if it still worries you. Maybe switch spots with the Frogspawn. Your tank is beautiful by the way!!

I will leave it in that spot then and see how he does, i only got him a few days ago and yeah he does inflate back again from time to time.
I'm not used to the flow the MP10's put out, im used to my old koralias lol, but i think in general the corals like this pump way better...the mushrooms did protest in the beginning though, but their starting to get used to it :lmao:

It might be fine the way it is now, but time will tell... Just to loosen up the load though, you might want to rotate the coral 90 degrees every time you do a water change.
