Branching hammer coral placement

I'm running a Kessil A150w over a 24g tank. Right now I have the Hammer placed in the sandbed but the heads are fully expanded. I am really not sure if that's right but I know that with other soft corals they expand all the way when they are not getting enough light. I'm not sure about these guys.

Looks happy to me. LPS like med flow and med-high light.
