Branching Hammer placement?

i have a question about placement. i have some branching hammer, and some frogspawn. what is the best placement for them. i currently have them sticking out of the rockwork. always putting some part in the shade of the hammer above them. should they be placed vertically in the sand on the bottom of the tank. if anyone has any picture it would be great. Thanks!!!

i have mine stuck in the rock work. I have 8 diff frogspawn color variations wedged into the rock and they all do geat. If there is some shading it will be ok but the more direct light it can get the better.

i have only had mine a few days now, but its down in the sand in the open. seems to be doing fine, just needs plenty of light.

Not realy. I get my best Euphillia growth out of specimines that are off to the side. I have a pink and green swirl hammer that is directly under my 150 HQI and I don't see nearly the growth out of it, as I do in the purple tip Frogspawn that is way off to the side.

Just put it in an area of modertae to high lighting levels. Also, another thing is to consider is flow...be sure it is getting ample enough flow, but not so much so it doesn't open fully.
