Posted this in my club forum but wanted to start a thread here to see if I may benefit from the extra experience. Tank is a 250 gallon deep dimension starphire front.
Tank Dimensions ---- 60x36x27
Stand is made out out of 2x8s for the top bracing, 2x6 for the bottom and side bracing. Laid a sheet of OSB across the top and bottom of the stand.
Doors/Panels are made from 1x3 pine with birch inserts. Stand is skinned with 1/4 inch oak plywood and 1x6 and 1x3 pine. Stain is jacobean.
Equipment list is still being established but will probably be lighting with 96 cree xpg leds. Will try to use my Ocotopus 200xs skimmer but if it doesnt work out I will upgrade. Geo 624 calcium reactor, 2 mp40ws, tunze 6045s, and a 1000 watt heater.
