I have bred Hypsoblennius, and they breed like crazy once they start. Most types are probably the same. The problem will be getting a pair, and not having them get beat up. We kept some fry and they turned into adults and became sexually mature I think about 18 months. We had 3 males and one female. The 3 males fought, even the female fought them. They attempted to breed and fought, so we took 2 males out and she would not breed or came out of season. The ones we did get to breed were paired in the wild, we watched them, and captured, and set them up as in the wild. The eggs are laid in a clam shell, we used pen shells. Eggs are a looser patch then clowns, and fry are much larger. Maybe 100-200 fry per hatching. Feed the same as clowns or neon gobies, rotifers for first 2 weeks or so, then freshly hatched artemia and rotifers mixed for a week or so, then straight artemia. When they settle, and become larger, try flake food. I had very high success rates, and let go 1000s in the local bay-from where they came from. We have thought about trying a good looking type, such as a midas blenny, or maybe another attractive type.
